About
Assaf Rodriguez, painter
40 years old, born in Jerusalem, He holds a bachelor's degree and studies in the arts from the Open University, and lives and works in a studio on Kibbutz Megiddo.
The exposure and interest in art in all its forms was made in my youth, inspired by and with the help of my father, the painter and artist David Rodriguez, from whom I drew great knowledge in the field of art and with its help I was exposed to different creative styles and artists.
Over the years, I have enriched and deepened my knowledge by taking academic courses, visiting museums, lectures, attending artist workshops and experimenting with various techniques, from oil painting, acrylic, water, woodworking to stone sculpting in Bernie Fink's artist workshop.
Over the years I have participated in exhibitions, street exhibitions, painted murals in kindergartens and various institutions, designed stage backdrops, graphic posters and more.
Today I paint in oil and acrylic paints, inspired by the unique landscape of the north of the country, my place of residence, and as part of my children's education to love the country and its landscapes.
